Our Concrete Flooring & Foundation Solutions

We know that every property has its own specific structural needs. Wagner Concrete delivers flooring and foundation solutions that are tailored to enhance functionality, safety, and longevity — whether you're pouring a residential garage slab or a commercial warehouse floor.

Garage Floors

Smooth, level garage slabs finished for vehicle traffic. Standard broom or upgraded smooth trowel finish. Proper pitch toward the drain — always.

Shop & Workshop Slabs

Thicker, higher-PSI slabs designed to handle heavy equipment, welding tables, lifts, and compressor loads without cracking.

Shed & Outbuilding Foundations

Correctly sized and reinforced slab foundations for sheds, barns, pool houses, and detached garages.

Basement & Foundation Slabs

Interior floor slabs for basements and crawl space enclosures — vapor barrier, proper drainage slope, and finished to specification.

Commercial Flooring

High-PSI warehouse, retail, and industrial floors engineered for forklift traffic, heavy shelving loads, and long-term durability.

Dumpster Pads & Equipment Pads

Reinforced concrete pads for dumpsters, AC units, generators, and heavy mechanical equipment — thick enough to handle the load without cracking.

Pole Barn Floors

Full-coverage or partial slab flooring for agricultural and commercial pole buildings — level, properly drained, and ready for vehicle traffic.

Flatwork & Utility Slabs

Any general-purpose concrete slab — loading areas, concrete aprons, covered parking, storage pads, and utility surfaces of any size.

Epoxy-Ready Floors

Smooth-trowel finished slabs prepared to the surface quality required for epoxy coating applications in garages and commercial spaces.

Built for Every Application

From polished shop floors to heavy-duty warehouse slabs, Wagner Concrete has the experience and equipment to handle concrete flooring at any scale. Every pour is spec'd for the load it needs to carry — not a one-size-fits-all mix.

Whether you're finishing a pole barn, adding a garage floor, or pouring a commercial foundation, we bring the same attention to base prep, reinforcement, and surface quality to every job.

    Concrete vs. Other Flooring

Why Concrete Is the Best Flooring for Your Application

    Unmatched Strength

Properly specified concrete handles loads that would destroy any other flooring material. From forklifts to loaded shelving, concrete is the only material that doesn't need special accommodation.

    Permanent, Low Maintenance

Concrete floors don't warp, buckle, or need replacement the way wood, tile, or epoxy-over-plywood alternatives do. Seal it, clean it, done.

    Design Versatility

From polished and stained decorative floors to utilitarian broom-finish slabs, concrete accommodates every aesthetic and functional requirement.

    PSI Engineered for the Load

We specify concrete mix strength based on what the floor actually needs to support — not a one-size-fits-all minimum. Commercial applications get commercial specs.

    Written Warranty on Every Job

Every concrete slab Wagner Concrete installs comes with a written warranty. We stand behind the structural integrity of our work.

    Level to Spec

We use proper screeding and leveling technique on every pour. A floor that isn't flat is a floor that causes problems for everything placed on it.

    How We Work

    Our Concrete Flooring Installation Process

Every Wagner Concrete project follows the same proven process. No shortcuts. No surprises. Just quality built to last.

    STEP 1
    Free Estimate & Consultation
Visit the site, assess existing conditions, determine required thickness and PSI for the intended use, and provide a written estimate.
    STEP 2
    Site Preparation
Excavate, remove any existing flooring or fill material, and establish correct sub-grade for the design thickness.
    STEP 3
    Vapor Barrier & Base
Install vapor barrier where required. Compact and place gravel base to the specified depth.
    STEP 4
    Forming & Reinforcement
Set forms or snap lines to establish the pour boundary. Place rebar grid or fiber reinforcement per the structural specification.
    STEP 5
    Concrete Placement
High-PSI concrete placed in lifts if needed, consolidated with vibrator, and screeded to the correct elevation.
    STEP 6
    Floating & Finishing
Bull-float, then power trowel or hand-finish to the specified surface texture — broom, smooth, or burnished.
    STEP 7
    Control Joints
Saw-cut or tooled control joints placed at engineered spacing to guide cracking where it won't be a problem.
    STEP 8
    Cure, Inspect & Handoff
Curing compound applied for proper strength development. Final inspection for flatness and finish quality before project handoff.

    Got Questions?

    Frequently Asked Questions

Most residential garage and shop slabs are poured and finished in one day. Larger commercial floors may require multiple pours. Foot traffic is safe after 24–48 hours; vehicle traffic after 7 days; full load capacity at 28 days.

A properly installed concrete floor lasts the life of the building — typically 50+ years with minimal upkeep. Sealing every few years and avoiding harsh chemical exposure keeps it in excellent condition.

Yes. Options include standard broom finish, smooth trowel for epoxy-ready or polished surfaces, exposed aggregate, and integral color. We'll discuss the best finish for your specific use during the estimate.

Concrete is the substrate that tile and epoxy are applied to — and it outperforms both as a finished floor in most functional applications. It handles loads, temperature changes, and moisture better than any applied surface material.

No. Seal the surface every 3–5 years, clean spills before they penetrate, and the floor stays in excellent condition essentially indefinitely. For commercial floors, the maintenance interval may be shorter depending on traffic volume.

Written warranty on every slab, the owner on every job, properly engineered PSI for your specific load requirements, and sub-base prep that we never skip. Most contractors who fail on floor slabs failed at the base prep stage.

Yes. Every floor and foundation slab we pour comes with a written warranty covering workmanship and structural integrity. Coverage terms are specified in writing before the project begins.
