Pour the Concrete

With proper installation and periodic sealing, stamped concrete lasts 25–40 years. A solid base, quality mix, proper joints, and sealing every 2–3 years are the keys to long-term performance.

All concrete can crack over time — but proper base preparation, correct joint placement, and quality PSI mix significantly reduce the risk. We install control joints strategically to guide any movement and prevent random cracking.

Keep it clean with occasional washing. Reseal every 2–3 years to protect the color and finish. Avoid harsh chemicals or ice-melt products that can degrade the sealer. Maintenance is minimal compared to wood decks or pavers.

Standard stamp patterns have texture that provides good traction. For extra slip resistance in pool areas or high-traffic zones, we can add a non-slip additive to the sealer. We'll recommend the right finish for your project.
